迪克牛仔 - 梦醒时分
Been playing this song continuously for the past 2 weeks. Still can’t get tired of this song. Kinda regret did not get to sing this song during my last ktv.
Tricks to get date you want for dental
Finally after 8 years, today will be the day. The day when I will go for the dental checkup.
To sweeten this deal is that, I won’t be paying. All thanks to 11B! I will make sure I brush twice before I get my checkup.
For army personnel, you should go for it! To take note, you shouldn’t head down to polyclinic to make an appointment. Instead, you should dail 6355-3000. I kuku wait there for one hour just to know this thing
One thing to note, army personnel should always ask for the date of appointment first. Don’t tell them you’re from army else they will give you lousy date. Don’t say I tell you want huh.

Today is the race day for dragonboat competition again. Should be the long distance race for June if I’m not wrong.
Personally, it’s been quite sometime since I went down to feel the competition. I had mixed emotion for dragonboat and can imagined my dearest friend down there rowing passionately (if only he’s still here).
I still think of him from time to time, wishing he’s still by my side to talk to and be my movie buddy. Of cos I still kinda regret I didn’t get to watch 881 with him.
I haven’t visit him for a long long time. I promised myself I will pay him a visit before I fly to the states. It’ll be soon and I’m sure I’ve got a lot to talk to him.

Long Pia is a hokkien word for crashing the wall. I think I crash against this particular wall for quite a few times.
Enough said, it is a disappointment knowing that someone you’re suppose to meet turn you down the last moment.
In particular, it wasn’t a good feeling walking to Orchard from City Hall to get the Spike-D from Big-O someone craves for.
The best way to contain my disappointment will be to mingle around with DK and co for a movie at 7. Hope it will be good to alleviate the disappointment.
Seems like this wall ain’t going to be the Berlin Wall anytime soon.

Been looking for this song for two years. Thanks Ridz for helping me to find this song.
Oh, where oh where can my baby be?
The Lord took her away from me
She’s gone to heaven, so I got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world.
We were out on a date in my daddy’s car
We hadn’t driven very far
There in the road, up straight ahead
A car was stalled, the engine was dead
I couldn’t stop, so I swerved to the right
I’ll never forget the sound that night
The screamin’ tires, the bustin’ glass
The painful scream that I heard last.
Oh, where oh where can my baby be?
The Lord took her away from me
She’s gone to heaven, so I got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world.
When I woke up, the rain was pourin’ down
There were people standing all around
Something warm rollin’ through my eyes
But somehow I found my baby that night
I lifted her head, she looked at me and said
“Hold me darling just a little while.”
I held her close, I kissed her our last kiss
I found the love that I knew I would miss
But now she’s gone, even though I hold her tight
I lost my love, my life that night.
Oh, where oh where can my baby be?
The Lord took her away from me
She’s gone to heaven, so I got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world.
Oooh~ ooooh~
First Time
After having dinner with a friend, I was left stranded on what to do next. I look to my left to see the Indian shop still open. Check out the price to be quite ok and went in. It’s very kind for the owner to take me as their last customer as they’re closing soon.
Guess what service I actually seek?
Trimming of eyebrow!
It’s really quite fun though had to suffer a bit of pain as well. But then the work turn out to be very good. The money is well spent!
The owner had pointed out that it’s been a trend for guys to trim eyebrow for the metrosexual look. Actually this is something I wanted to do 2 years ago because I saw my scout buddy had it done and it really looks good. Of cos he is darn handsome without it la.
I will go there if I wanted to have my eyebrow trimmed again. Confirm chop.

We seriously need more competitors to join in the fray of providing public transport in Singapore with the rising cost of living.
According to my past experience talking to uncle while doing despatch, he commented that it is possible for companies to provide cheaper service as compared to SMRT and SBS.
I think it is a good alternative to have. I seriously wouldn’t mind that. But still is this even a possible idea to start out with?
I think the worry for government is the consistency of the quality of the transport system in Singapore and the system to govern such companies. But still it’s something worth trying for the sake of Singaporeans right?

Everything seems to be going up nowadays, but the recent rise in premium bus fares somehow reminds me of the rise in ERP charges. Someone mentioned that ‘if motorists pay to use the road, they will be assured of a smooth ride’. It would have seemed that the public transport companies are taking the same stance, except that they are quoting ‘raising fuel costs’ as the main reason.
As with previous announcements on hikes of whatever nature, it is never complete without an face-palm statement, quoting Mr Ong Kian Ming, deputy chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee for Transport, that ‘yes, bus operators are running a business, but it’s also a time to attract more people to switch to public transport’.
Right.
Premium bus fares to go up
By Yeo Ghim Lay
PREMIUM bus fares will soon go up, as operators here feel the pinch from higher fuel prices.
SBS Transit, which runs more than half of such services, will raise fares by 30 to 60 cents, up to a maximum of $3.60 per trip.
The fare hike will affect all of its 40 premium services. Details are being worked out.
Currently, a trip on an SBS Transit premium bus costs between $2.70 and $3.60.
A company spokesman said that its electricity and fuel costs have increased by 52.4 per cent in the first quarter of this year, compared to the same period last year.
Rival SMRT has already increased fares for premium service 531, which travels the Simei to Central Business District route, from $3 to $4. Fares on its remaining premium services remain the same.
Smaller players Bus Hub and the Singapore School Transport Association have also applied to raise their fares by 50 cents to $1.
Bus Hub runs two premium services; the association has five.
The Public Transport Council (PTC), which approves bus-fare increases, said it ‘generally would not object to changes in premium bus services fares as operators make their own commercial assessments and risks to adjust their service pricing’.
Mr Ong Kian Min, deputy chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee for Transport, hopes fares will not go up drastically.
‘Yes, bus operators are running a business, but it’s also a time to attract more people to switch to public transport,’ he said.
Premium services, a key plank of the Government’s push to get more commuters to take public transport, have been gaining in popularity lately: There are now 76 services, up from 42 in January.
This includes six new SBS Transit premium services to be rolled out on Monday.

Saw this on AHM donation card
I had a good laugh seeing this on AHM donation card:- “Forcing people to donate twelve dollars is equivalent to extortion. Well done SAF!”
I come to understand his his rage because even I can’t know why donation has now become a compliance issue. I know this situation has persist for a long long time but seems like some things won’t change.
Should we be forced to donate?
Is this another face value problem?
But some things are illogical right? Just like women.
For me, I’m a obedient soldier that only hope for peaceful time ahead. Of cos that guy ain’t spared and he had been lectured by two officer.
Punishment? I hope not.

Next round should be the top 6-10 competing against pkers. Would be fun to see how those that drop out find their direction again. In Singapore, there’s a trend that those dropout will win the competition. Will this happen in 星光3?

Singapore very own Bae Yong Jun on 星光3
Haha. Jinglun is darn funny la. To show his determination, he even go to the extend of imitating Bae Yong Jun. But here comes the problem, if he continue to sing songs from Jeff Chang, people will said that he’s always imitating others. So how to go about this? Only he understand himself best. Still, well done Jinglun.
See you next year for ICT. Maybe don’t need so long la.
