Antique facilities

August 13th, 2007

Back for my second week of school. Sitting at the same old lousy lecture theatre 19. Just cannot figure out why the school is able to beautify the “outside” and yet leave the inside “rotten”. (The super big plasma screen at the entrance of the school must have cost quite a lot)

The quality of the lecture theatre is really shiitake (super antique). The major problem is having the sliding tables that can came crashing down at the slightest touch of a finger. I cannot remember how many incident in LT19 before. Everyone should have one of such experience before.

Take a look at our latest innovation, iChair 2.0, where you can pluck out chairs and move to another place and plug it back in to sit onto. Cool huh? Nope. It’s not a new innovation but due to the poor maintenance itself.

Seriously, the LT need a renovation. Guess there is more of such LT. We, students, deserve a better facilities considering the rise of school fees in recent years. Such an irony that we pay so much for the fees yet we don’t see the quality of the facilities that match with the rising school fee.

C’mon do something to it. Make our money worthwhile. Ping Pang?!# there goes another poor chap.

Go to the school’s website for a copy of their annual report and u will know how rich the school is.

Being said that, we can actually notify the respective school to inform them of their lousy chairs. But… even their own school students don’t give a damn..so what can we do?

Or maybe..they already complained but the administrator just press the delete button on the email.

Last year for you to suffer anyway. I have 2 :\

Public transport has a standard to adhere to but what about the school. Shouldn’t the government step in as they are also the major stakeholder (they provide the tuition grant).

If school is earning money then they should have done something about it. Or are they waiting for the furnitures to turn antique to genereate extra revenue?

Ermmm but we cannot judge base on a few very good LT. And why is it such a vast standard between different LT?

An example will be all other bus arrive at 10mins interval during rush hour, but yours is 20-30 mins. How would you feel?

Business student also got their concern bcos my previous experience there isn’t good either. Some of the LT really smell like shiitake. Advice 1: don’t eat Lor Mee in LT for goodness sake.

Can don’t register and just go there for the free food?
