At one point of time, gahmen is telling us that :-

It’s ok that expatriates have salary adjustment cos they are here to provide value-added service. They work harder than Singaporeans too.

Yet, another minister is telling us this :-

Singaporeans are working too hard

Abit confusing right? But I remember Prof Tan from minor in entrepreneurship once told us

The power of mixing 2 conflicting values together just like Dell (mass production and mass customization).

For once, I try very hard to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Yet the despatch uncle say

“Cannot compare what. They are here cos the exchange rate to their country is higher” (hokkien)

But my conclusion is that when expatriates hold more weight than it’s own people, it’s no wonder so many of our people wanted to migrate.

Over a casual chit chat, my friend even suggest to an article his friend wrote titled as “we are sold cheap.”
