Inaccurate company information provided by ACRA

Just wondering, is it a offense for business owner not to have their company information updated in ACRA? I’m not a business student and hence I’m not quite sure. When I asked the tenant occupying the office, I was told they have been occupying the place for a few months!
I was told by my close friends that the business owner should be responsible for updating the information.
Should I make such a big fuss over it? Is it an offense or is this something very common? Some business student please help.
